#XBOX 1 CONTROLLER SERIES#
This model was released on the Xbox Series X and S's launch and was initially available in three different colors, with a fourth being made available not long after the console launched. Rather than using micro USB as a wired connection like all other standard Xbox Wireless controllers, the controller now uses USB-C as with the Series 2 Elite controllers. The controller use mostly the same design as previous models but has had it's shape slightly refined and a new D-pad and textured grips added.

As well as working with the new Xbox consoles, the new controllers are also compatible with Xbox One consoles just like their predecessors and Windows 10 PCs like all third generation controllers. With the launch of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S in 2020, an all new Xbox wireless controller was created and bundled with each console. It uses the design scheme of past controllers such as the Night Ops Camo Special Edition and the color scheme of the Winter Forces controller which was originally released in 2017.Ī revised version of the controller using the same name and similar design was released in 2023 using the Xbox Series X|S controller design.
The Arctic Camo Special Edition was one of the first Xbox One controllers to be released in 2020. Aside from the exclusive front faceplate the rest of the controller, including its packaging, is identical in appearance to a standard white Xbox One controller sold individually at retail. The front faceplate of the controller is gloss red and features the Pizza Hut logo. The Pizza Hut Red controller is a limited edition Xbox One controller that was offered as a prize during Pizza Hut's "The Triple Treat Box Instant Win and Sweepstakes" from November 7 to December 24, 2016.

The addition of Bluetooth connectivity allowed for these controllers to be used on Windows PCs, iOS and Android devices without the need of an adapter. Third generation Xbox Wireless controllers added Bluetooth support as well as improved thumbsticks and triggers. Xbox Design Lab controllers also used this model. They were originally released with the Xbox One S in 2016 and were also bundled with the Xbox One X in 2017. Third generation Xbox Wireless controllers were produced from 2016 until late 2020, when they were succeeded by the new controllers bundled with the Xbox Series X and S. The following Xbox One controller revision was released several months later. This controller was the last variant to use the second revision of Xbox One controllers. Black thumbsticks, D-Pad, bumpers, triggers and buttons are used on the controller. This controller includes a vertical blue gradient design with matching blue on black, ,, buttons. The Dusk Shadow Controller was released on the same day as the Copper Shadow Xbox One controller (February 19, 2016) and is the second controller in the Shadow series.
